After graduated from SJSU, I have been working at Hamaguchi & Associates, one of the leading pediatric speech clinics in California. I have worked with children with a range of communication needs, including autism, language delays, articulation challenges, childhood apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language difficulties, social communication skills, and many more. I am also trained in Natural Language Acquisition for gestalt language processors and PROMPT, a specialized technique for children with apraxia.

As a native Mandarin speaker, I am passionate about supporting bilingual families and fostering bilingualism. I offer specialized screenings and assessments tailored to the unique needs of bilingual children, making me one of the very few in the Bay Area equipped to handle these specific challenges.

In addition to my clinical work, I joined the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences at SJSU in Fall 2024, where I teach Child Language Disorders in the SLP Master’s program, from which I graduated. This role allows me to stay engaged with the latest research and continue learning, which I bring back into my clinical practice to benefit the families I work with.

My goal is to create a welcoming, fun, and supportive environment where children feel encouraged to explore and grow their communication skills. I look forward to being part of your child's journey to greater confidence and success!
